WHC High Temp Amylase is a heat-stable alpha-amylase obtained from a selected classical strain of Bacillus licheniformis. It rapidly reduces the viscosity of the slurry, releasing soluble dextrins as well as small amounts of maltose and glucose at elevated temperatures.
